We were delighted to welcome over 800 students and parents from Reading School, along with over 60 representatives from diverse employment sectors and professions, and five keynote speakers from diverse fields, providing insights into various career paths, from accountancy to law, medicine to engineering, finance to IT. A huge thank you to our Headline Sponsor, Macron, and sponsors Leiper Gupta Family Lawyers, King Energy, and P-TEK.

Reading School’s students from Year 7 to 13 were invited to our biennial event, which represents a particularly important opportunity to support pupils to make decisions about their GCSE, A-level and higher education options. This year, we extended invitations to Year 9 to 13 students from The Abbey School and Kendrick School, providing them with an exceptional opportunity to explore different career avenues and gain valuable insights.

Special gratitude to our keynote speakers—Dr Saritha Arunkumar (IBM), Mr Greg Payne (Oracle Corporation), Mr Jonathan Purcell (International Centre of Justice for Palestinians), Mr Levi Tebbutt (KPMG), and Miss Orla Harper (InvestIN)—for sharing their invaluable experiences and insights throughout the evening during a series of inspiring talks.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank each one of the companies which participated, covering sectors from Architecture and Engineering to Financial Services and Healthcare, including AWE, BDO LLPCollectiv Food; Deloitte, Jacobs, Johnson Matthey, Kier Group; Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS; and National Grid, to name a few.

Thank you to all the teachers, staff and student volunteers who supported on the night.
