MMI- Multiple Mini Interviews - November 2025

We are proud to recognise the exceptional support from the Redingensian community for this year’s Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) Circuit.

On Tuesday 11th November and Tuesday 18th November, 24 medicine/dentistry students and professionals generously volunteered their time to deliver virtual mock MMI circuits. A total of 43 students took part via Zoom, including local schools, Maiden Erleigh, The Abbey and The Piggott School. Their expertise offered invaluable preparation for these aspiring healthcare professionals ahead of their upcoming assessments.

We extend our sincere thanks to Old Redingensians Dr Tim Young (OR 1979–1986), Dr Sam Krauze (OR 1997–2004), Dr Yusef Karmali (OR 2006–2013), Dr Sunil Tailor (OR 2007–2013), Dr Andrew Prowse (OR 2011–2018), Dr Shameer Noori (OR 2010–2017), Dr Sebastian Young (OR 2010–2017), Dr Roy Wang (OR 2011–2018), Nirbhay Kaul (OR 2017–2023), Angelo Augustine (OR 2014–2021), Rohan Nambiar (OR 2017–2024), Sher Gakhal (OR 2013–2020) and Nikhil Patel (OR 2013–2020).

We would also like to thank members of our parent community (current and former) — Dr Ravi Kumar (Former Parent), Dr Pompa Bhattacharyya (Current Parent), Dr Apurba Chatterjee (Former Parent), Dr Rati Gill (Current Parent), Dr Aparna Balaji (Current Parent), Dr Patrick Purcell (Former Parent), Dr Sue Bowen (Former Parent) and Dr Oliver Flossmann (Former Parent) and Dr Hanya Kang, Dr Beenish Feroz and Dr Mallika Babu from the Royal Berkshire Hospital — who continue to champion and support opportunities such as this.

Here is just some of the feedback from students about the sessions:

Joshika M (External student) said, “I wanted to thank you for organising this event and giving me the opportunity to take part in the MMI mocks. It was very useful experience and provided great exposure for my first practice interview. I found the process really insightful, and it helped me understand what areas I need to work on moving forward. The feedback I received from Dr Chatterjee was particularly helpful and constructive, and I really appreciate the time and effort that went into setting this up. Please also extend my thanks to the interviewers and the whole team that got involved in organising this session.”

Raghav S (13PEI) said, “The MMI session today was great. For starters, I felt it ran really smoothly so thanks a lot to you for all the work you put in to organise this. I was in interview Group 3, and all of my interviewers were very friendly and welcoming. They made it feel more like a conversation rather than a very rigid interview, and it definitely helped settle some nerves, but I was also able to lay out my points without getting too nervous…. Overall, really great experience and once again, thanks a lot!”

Ishita N (External student) also said, “Thank you so much for involving me in the MMI mock, it was really helpful! I appreciate the opportunity to do an online interview as most of my university interviews will be taking place online. I think it was structured well and went smoothly and the interviewers were really friendly and gave me prompts throughout. Overall, it was a very useful practice and the experience will definitely be valuable later on. I don't have any complaints about the circuit and the feedback was detailed and I will definitely be taking it on board.”

We wish all our students undertaking interviews over the next few weeks the very best of luck.
