2025 marks a milestone like no other—900 years of Reading School. 

It has been a year of extraordinary celebrations. In March, we held our first Giving Day, attracting over 1,800 donors worldwide. In June, more than 5,000 neighbours, families and friends joined our inaugural Community Carnival. Then in July, former staff and Old Redingensians (ORs) returned for the Grand Reunion, reconnecting from across the globe and rekindling friendships.

Our celebrations, however, are not yet over. We are saving the grandest event for last—the jewel in the crown of our 900th anniversary year:

Reading School Gala Dinner 2025

Venue: The Town Hall, Reading (Blagrave St, RG1 1QH)
Date: Saturday 29 November 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM

This prestigious evening promises to blend tradition with inspiration. Highlights include:

• A welcome drinks reception to reconnect with friends and the wider Reading School community.
• A three-course gala dinner in the historic setting of Reading Town Hall.
• A keynote address from a distinguished guest speaker.
• Surprise live entertainment, including a showstopping act during dinner.
• Silent and live auctions featuring exclusive experiences and items.
• A luxury raffle draw, with every pound raised supporting the Beyond 900 Fund.

• Group Table (10 guests): £1,400
