Due to the current heatwave, with temperatures forecast to reach an amber warning on 26th June and peak at around 33°C or higher in the afternoon, we regret that we will not be able to proceed with the MCC Cricket Fixture on the School field.

Given that this is an outdoor cricket fixture on the School field, the expected high temperatures present a significant health and safety risk to all involved, including players, officials and spectators. The health and safety of students, players, officials and guests must remain our priority, and we therefore do not feel it would be appropriate to proceed in these conditions.

We are sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience this decision may cause, particularly given the significance of this historic fixture in our sporting calendar.
