This concert is held in memory of Old Redingensian Mark Harvey (OR 1987–1994; East Wing Boarder), who sadly passed away in 2026 at the age of 49, following a battle with cancer.
Mark was part of an extraordinary family lineage at Reading School spanning four generations — his great-uncle, grandfather, father and brother all attended the school before him.
Alongside his years at Reading School, Mark was known as a humble and dedicated pianist, for whom music was a lifelong source of joy. This memorial concert brings together School musicians, professional performers and Mark's own personal connections, offering a fitting way to celebrate his life, his love of the piano and his family's enduring association with the school.
Join us for an afternoon of live music to honour Mark's life, character and legacy, in a manner that reflects his humility and his love of music, bringing together his family, friends, fellow alumni and the wider school community in shared remembrance.

Limited parking is available on the Whitegates car park on the London Road Campus near the Great Hall
Free parking will be available at Reading School for the drinks reception. Please enter via Erleigh Road.
