We are delighted to welcome back Graham Martin (OR 1957–1963) to reflect on his experiences of travelling and working abroad.
Graham attended Reading School and studied Accounts and Economics at A Level before going on to complete an HNC in Civil Engineering, later qualifying as an Incorporated Engineer (I.Eng). His career has taken him far beyond the classroom, working and travelling internationally.
In this lecture, he will also share personal insights into Reading School during his time as a pupil, offering a fascinating perspective on how the School has evolved.
This talk will be of particular interest to students considering engineering, economics, international work, or global travel, as well as anyone curious about life at Reading School in previous generations.
Date: Tuesday 3rd March 2026
Time: 13:00 – 13:45
Venue: Lecture Theatre, Reading School
